La combinación que tan bien funcionó en mi primera vez en Cibeles se vuelve "ligera". Para un look bicolor, añado una chaqueta vaquera blanca. Algo tiene esta falda, un "no sé qué" que me impide accesorizarme para que sea el centro de atención. Así que me rindo y salgo de casa sin más complementos.

The combination that worked so good in last Cibeles season, turns into a lighter version. For a bicolor outfit I add a white denim jacket. This skirt has something, this "I don't know what" that prevents me from accesorizing myself so it can be the centre of attention. So I surrender myself and get out without any more complements.

Evito las mediastintas. Sin embargo, convertidas en asimetrías dejo que invadan mi armario esta temporada. Ya nos avisaron durante el invierno de que este verano no se admitían las prendas con el mismo largo. 1 vestido, 2 imágenes; corto por delante; largo por detrás. Sé que pronto pasará de moda y eso hace que me guste más todavia, ahora.

I like clear statements. either this or that. However, this season's wardrobe claims for "having everything" by means of asymetries. We were advised last f/w that clothes with the same lenght weren't admitted this summer. 1 dress, 2 looks; short from the front, long from the back. I know it will go out of fashion soon and that just makes me like it even more, for now.

"En Madrid no se compra ropa de entretiempo" sentencia una "gata", amiga mía. Aunque estas últimas semanas le he hecho dudar de esta afirmación "gracias" al tiempo tan loco que hemos vivido. Ambas rehusamos llenar el armario con prendas que ni fu ni fa. Puede que a priori combinar botas altas y camisa  de seda de flores, sea extraño, pero creedme, da un resultado excelente ante el sol que va y viene entre chaparrones.

"There's no need to buy lightweight clothes in Madrid" claims a friend of mine from Madrid. However, I've made her think twice about this statement due to the unstable weather we've been through. Both of us refuse to fill up our wardrobe with spring/autumn garmets. At first it may seem strange matching high boots with silken flower-print shirts, but trust me, it gives an excelent result with changing weather.

El domingo fue el Día de la Madre. Ellas siempre dicen no tener tiempo para prepararse y saben que invertir en prendas atemporales les solucionará casi cualquier situación. Yo lo aprendí hace tiempo de la mía y así lo ejemplifico en este outfit. Bien si habéis optado por regalarles otro básico o si, en cambio, le habeis echado el ojo a alguna prenda de su fondo de armario... Espero que lo hayáis disfrutado juntas. Yo le dedico este post a la mia.

Last sunday Spain celebrated Mother's Day. They always claim not having time to get prepared and they know that investing in timeless clothes will solve almost any situation. I learnt it long time ago from mine and show it with this outfit. Either if you have decided to buy them another basic or if you have checked any basic in their wardrobe... Hope you enjoyed this day together. This post goes dedicated to my mother.

La primavera se presenta peleona y no queda más remedio que sacar los abrigos. Sí, esos mismos que ya habían sido empaquetados al más mínimo rayo de sol. De mientras que se decide a darnos una tregua yo estreno pantalones con tendencia tie-dye y Chelsea boots. 

The spring doesn't seem to be so and coats need to be returned to our closets. Yes, the same ones we tried to packed with the first sunbeams. In the meanwhile the spring decides whether or not give us a rest I'm wearing new tie-dye jeans and Chelsea boots.
